The portable solar unit (PSU) is an Australian designed extra low voltage solar power unit with multiple applications including:

Remote power for buildings/sheds – internal/security lighting, refrigerators, fences and gates, device charging;

Powering bore pumps for rural residential, agricultural water supply;

Built in pumping system for water reticulation, pumping and storage;

Ability to provide energy storage for after hours use via the connection to a water pressure battery.

Portable Solar Systems

The portable solar unit is designed to enable easy installation straight from delivery.  The unit is supplied fully assembled and tested and does not require the use of licensed contractors for installation.  The standard method of mounting is on a pedestal. This requires the use of a post or pole to be cemented into the ground.  The recommended material is an 80mm galvanized pipe with 3mm walls.

The PSU is designed for maximum electrical safety by being designed to use extra low voltage (ELV) thus eliminating the use of dangerous high voltage around water sources.

The PSU provides a range of power generating options to generate up to 0.4KW/hr. Each unit comes with battery storage to allow 24-hour operation outside of the solar energy generating periods during the day.

The PSU is designed for low maintenance and is constructed of a lightweight 5005 aluminum body and stainless steel support frame that are both designed for our harsh environment.
